Messiyah Stevens has been at Vanderbilt University since 2022 and currently serves as a Clinical/Translational Research Coordinator I on the Mini-MENDS project. Originally from Hazel Green, Alabama, and a graduate of Oakwood University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Messiyah brings a strong foundation in research methodology, gained through Vanderbilt's Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP). In his role at the CIBS center, Messiyah focuses on delirium research, leveraging skills to support study design, data collection, and patient care. He values the opportunity to work closely with both the research team and patients, gaining unique insights into the intersection of clinical practice and research. Messiyah believes that his experiences in clinical research and patient care will further his long-term goal of entering and completing a Psychology PhD program.
