Matthew Mart, MD

Matthew Mart, MD is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Maryville College summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry. He then completed his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine with high honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He subsequently completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Kentucky before moving to Nashville to pursue subspecialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine. His research interests include long-term and patient-centered outcomes in survivors of critical illness, particularly in areas of physical function and disability.
