Alex Barry BSN, RN, MBA

Alex graduated from Lipscomb University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and Buying as well as a degree in Textiles and Apparel. She continued her education at Lipscomb and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Business Administration. In 2017, Alex completed an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University and began her nursing career at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She worked as a pediatric operating room nurse until 2020 when she then left to join the CIBS Center and begin her career as a Pediatric Critical Care Research Nurse. Since joining CIBS, Alex has discovered a love of teaching and public speaking and looks forward to assisting in the discovery of advances in pediatric critical care and delirium.
